About the Process

Everything You Need to Know Before Getting Started

What exactly does Cross Puente do?

Cross Puente is a consulting company that guides and supports you through the process of finding legal employment in Poland. We are not an employment agency — our role is to inform you, help with your documents, and coordinate with our licensed recruitment partner in Poland, Cross Bridge Recruitment sp. z o.o., who makes all hiring decisions.

How long does the entire process take?

The complete process typically takes between 2 and 4 months, depending on how quickly you gather your documents and visa processing times. Some candidates have traveled in less than 3 months from their first consultation.

Do I need previous experience to apply?

It depends on the position. Some jobs in manufacturing, warehouse, or food processing don't require previous experience — just willingness to learn and work hard. For specialized positions like welder or forklift operator, verifiable experience is required.

What level of Polish do I need?

You don't need to know Polish to start the process. We enroll you in a basic course before your trip so you can learn essential phrases. Many of our candidates arrived without speaking the language and adapted successfully.

Does Cross Puente guarantee I'll get a job?

We don't guarantee employment because hiring decisions are made by our partner in Poland. What we do guarantee is a transparent process, professional document preparation, and complete support. The vast majority of candidates who complete the process get placed.

Can I choose which city or company I work for?

Available positions depend on employer demand in Poland. We inform you about available options at the time of your application, but we cannot guarantee a specific city or company.

What happens if my visa application is rejected?

If your visa is rejected for reasons beyond your control, we review your case and evaluate options. Deposit refund conditions are clearly specified in your service contract.

Can I bring my family with me?

Initially you travel alone to get established. Once you have your Karta Pobytu (residence permit) and job stability, you can begin the family reunification process. We guide you on the requirements when the time comes.

What documents do I need to prepare?

Basic documents include: valid passport (minimum 18 months validity), criminal background certificate, birth certificate, passport-size photos, and depending on the position, proof of work experience. We provide you with a complete personalized list during your consultation.

Do my documents need to be translated?

Yes, documents must be translated into Polish by a certified translator. We coordinate translations for you to ensure they meet the standards required by Polish authorities.

What is an apostille and do I need one?

An apostille is a certification that validates your documents for international use. Some documents like your birth certificate or criminal background check may require one. We tell you exactly which documents need an apostille in your case.

How much does Cross Puente's service cost?

The total cost and payment structure are clearly explained in your contract. It typically includes an initial deposit and a final payment before your trip. There are no hidden costs — everything is in writing from the start.
