Program: Building Bridges – Ethical Migration Program

Primary Duties:

Packing finished turkey products in a clean production area
Checking quality, labels, weights, and visual appearance
Operating simple packaging or processing machines (full training provided)
Helping on the production line: sorting, arranging, and preparing packages
Maintaining cleanliness and following hygiene procedures
Knife work

Compensation & Contract

Contract Type: Umowa Zlecenie (Civil Contract)

Base Rates:

Standard rate: 24.60 PLN/hour (≈124 MXN/hour)
Students under 26: 30.50 PLN/hour (≈154 MXN/hour)

Average Workload: 200 hours/month

Monthly Earnings Estimate:

Standard rate: ≈4,920 PLN (≈24,850 MXN/month)
Student rate: ≈6,100 PLN (≈30,805 MXN/month)

Bonuses:

Operator bonus: +1.45–3 PLN/hour (≈7–15 MXN/hour)
Carcass hanging bonus: +15 PLN/hour (≈76 MXN/hour)
Individual bonuses possible based on performance

Work Schedule

Two Schedule Options:

Option 1: 3 Shifts of 8 Hours (Monday–Friday + Saturday)

Morning, afternoon, and night shifts available
Breaks: 30 minutes per 8-hour shift

Option 2: 2 Shifts of 12 Hours

Extended shifts with additional breaks
Breaks: 30 minutes + additional 15 minutes per 12-hour shift

Meals Provided:

Free meals on-site
For 12-hour shifts: 2 meals per shift

Accommodation

Agency-Provided Housing:

Cost: 450–650 PLN (≈2,270–3,280 MXN) per month
Basic accommodation with shared facilities

Alternative Housing Option:

Extra payment for using own housing: +150 PLN (≈760 MXN)
Provides flexibility for workers with existing arrangements

Transportation:

Transportation by public transport: ~100 PLN
Tickets purchased initially and later deducted from salary

Working Conditions

Temperature: 3–20°C (varies by department)

Cool environment requiring appropriate clothing
Workwear provided to ensure comfort

Workwear Provided:

Protective clothing
Warm sweater
Safety shoes
Warm trousers
All necessary protective equipment

Important Note: Presence of smell at the workplace due to the nature of poultry processing
